How are the Swans doing 2021

Recommended Posts

And as an update to the Swans Sydney history (they used to be South Melbourne):

Flamboyant former owner of the Swans (Dr) Geoffrey Edelsten has died at the age of 78.

He was struck off by the Medical Board, and later order not to use the titles Dr (even though he had a PhD) or Professor as it could mislead people into thinking he could practise medicine.

One of his most memorable players was Uncle Les' favourite Aussie Rules player

Cheers Leigh,

Buddy kicked a goal too

if you're watching Mic, you are very welcome to put the scores up. I did see Buddy's goal - a typical one for him.

Right there with you Mic. I played golf yesterday and after dinner I made the mistake of having a pina colada, that did me in, fell asleep. Never even checked to see if any games were on!

Appreciate posting of the scores. It seems like the Swans lost another easy game. I wonder if they just relax too much when they play the lower-ranked teams?? At least they are still in the top 8.

Go Swans!

Just checked the schedule (we were out with friends last night, no time to check then), Swans on a bye this week 😞 But, at least they won't lose. Maybe a week off will help their focus so they win the easy ones???

Tonight, Roos--Lions will be on TV here. Tomorrow it's Hawks--Bombers. We're having some friends over for dinner, hoping I can stay up and watch.

The bye can be a sneaky opponent, just ask Port Adelaide:

Was that real? At first, I thought it was a joke but as the video progressed, it seemed real.

Swans beware!

Hoping they find good form somewhere in the training ground for next week.

Uncertainty about where and when the Swans will be playing this weekend.

Because of the thing we are not allowed to mention, the Swans may not be allowed into South Australia to play Port Adelaide.

Some indications the game may move to Melbourne. It is currently scheduled for Saturday night, but that time would conflict with games at both grounds in Melbourne on Saturday.

Potential then for a Sunday afternoon game at the MCG.

Keep an eye for updates to your TV guide.
