ANOTHER interesting twist to the cruising story - Royal Caribbean joins Crystal in cruising out of the Bahamas (Nassau) - skipping US ports and CDC requirements. Mexico is also trying to attract the cruise lines. If the US doesn’t wake up, they will be bypassed and their ports will lose money. IMO People from the US don’t really cruise to enjoy US Ports (other than Alaska). They cruise to enjoy the islands and warm climates.

My next cruise is out of Fort Lauderdale, I would gladly hop over to Bahamas to leave, I would actually consider it a bonus.  If the US and Canada don’t want our money, Bahamas here I come
