Ages for Aquanauts vs Explorer on Allure

Recommended Posts

My son will be almost six at the time of sailing and think he would have a better time with Explorer group and space. Do Royal 'hardline' ages as far as the clubs go? I'm not sure how much mileage he will get out the Aquanauts program being one of the very oldest kids.

Thanks in advance.

My experience is it varies and sometimes you want to wait until you’re on board to decide. Sometimes the older category are weighed towards older kids and our kids wouldn’t like to be in there when they’re 2 - 3 years younger. It’s the luck of the draw.

We’ve found the staff to be flexible though.
