Just booked Celebrity to Alaska with land tour 8B - Need excursion advice!

Recommended Posts

We just booked this cruise for June of 2022.  My husband and I are in our mid 50's and our friends are 60.  We have just started looking at the tour options.  There are so many that look amazing!!  If you have done a fabulous Celebrity tour in Alaska, could you please let me know.  We're looking at a Helicopter Glacier Trek in Juneau and the Whales, Wildlife, and Brown Bear Search in Icy Strait.  Any advice would be appreciated!!

Thanks, I appreciate your help!  I have asked questions there, but I was hoping to find information on those Celebrity excursions in particular before we book them.  I'm sure we will do some other things that aren't with them.

Our best whale watching was in Juneau with Jayleen, a small boat (6 passengers) private excursion.

We had a good bear watching excursion in Ketchikan through the ship.  The White Pass Railroad is a not to be missed in Skagway.  There will be additional excursions that you can book during the land tour, once the tour starts.  Make sure you have the long excursion in Denali, not the one that just goes to the Ranger Station.  It might be included in your land package, if not you can upgrade if you are in Denali long enough.  It's the Tundra Wilderness Tour.
