Voom and iMessage?

Just curious as I'm sailing on Allure and debating whether or not to purchase the Voom internet.  For anyone who's used it, can you use iMessage to text back to the kids while at sea?  I know there's other apps like WhatsApp and FB Msgr and such, but just hoping to make it easier if possible.

Yes, and the Surf tier is good enough for that.

yes.  My kids did it years ago onboard to their friends back home.  Get the surf and stream.

For texting only and on a ship like Allure with O3B internet, Stream is not really needed.

Yes, it works.  We used it on Allure for those purposes and had no issues.
