How do you cancel a cruise that was booked direct with p&o?

I need to cancel a cruise, the p&o terms and conditions say this needs to be done in writing. I sent a letter signed delivery to p&o last week, now I read on their website that they are unable to process postal communications at the moment.  I also tried phoning several times but you get cut off after two minutes as they are too busy to answer at the moment.

Has anyone successfully cancelled a cruise recently, if so how did you do it?

You’ve done the important thing by putting it in writing, though an email would also do the trick.

Probably just a question of keeping trying on the phones, but others may suggest the best times. I’d usually try the minute lines open in the morning.

Presumably you did book direct?
