silkismom Posted August 27, 2021 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2021 Just for kicks, I went into British Airways to look at my booked flt from DFW/LHR/LIS they said something about quarantine for flying into UK, surely they can't mean that for transiting passengers. Anyone know?? Of course much can change by mid Nov, just something else to worry about. Yes we are both vaccinated and hope to get the booster before then. Thanks for any info. excitedofharpenden Posted August 27, 2021 #2 Share Posted August 27, 2021 Simple answer is no. You don't have to quarantine in the UK if you are merely transitting. Phil
Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted August 27, 2021 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2021 You don't have to quarantine in the UK if you're from the US and have been vaccinated, even if you're not in transit.

kbella Posted August 28, 2021 #5 Share Posted August 28, 2021 Just make sure the gate agent checking you in at LIS knows the “rules”. A Lufthansa agent tried to deny me boarding last week from LJU (Slovenia)to LHR for my transit flight to DFW. I had to dig out the latest UK transit exemptions to prove I did not need a quarantine package for The UK.
