Shipping your luggage to the ship

We had Luggage Forward on our WC and have used it ever since.  This summer coming home from Iceland, we had a tight connection at JFK and then were delayed a bit.  We made our connection because we didn’t have to collect luggage and go back through security.  I was just checking prices for our Panama Canal cruise in December.  It is quite reasonable when traveling in the US.  But for us, worth the expense even when traveling abroad!

Luggage Forward is great with good customer service on the phone.  Just be careful reading what is not allowed in the suitcases and don't lock them because they will check and remove liquids, electronics, drugs, etc.  I think those are returned to your home.  Once our luggage was picked up a day earlier than scheduled (we were ready!) and once they came in the morning instead of the afternoon.  You can track where your luggage is once it's picked up.  We found that for our return home that it was less expensive to purchase on the ship instead of before the cruise.
