Second passenger might cancel

My second passenger may cancel. How far ahead of booking can a new passenger be substituted? If I end up alone due to them no showing, do I get the same C&A points credit as a solo passenger as I would have if booked solo?

Name changes should be allowed up to 24 hours before sailing.

Yes, if you don't add another person, the taxes/fees will be automatically refunded to your payment method.  If you don't automatically get the "single" number of CAS points, you can just call afterward and they'll adjust it for you.
