We are booked for 2022 and haven’t been on Princess in awhile.

what are the dining times and how do they coincide with the shows. The last time we had some trouble with the show times not lining up with dining. Do they still have 2 shows in the evening and offer the production show more than once during the week?

With the new "Dine My Way" system there are no set times for dinner.  You choose your dining times via the app.  Check some of the recent/current "Live" threads for info on show times and production shows...

I was on the Majestic in Alaska last month.  The shows were at 7:00 & 9:00.  I got to the 9:00 one night when we ate at 7pm.

We were on a Majestic sailing as well...second cruise of startup.  We always did early dining...the waiter always asked us if we were trying to make a show.

A benefit of the previous option for traditional dining is that Princess set up a time that would allow each sitting to be able to attend a show after eating and in some cases, before eating.

 

Looking at current dining times is not much help in selecting your dining times for a future cruise. For example, the recent Majestic Alaska cruises had show times that were 30 minutes different than the recent Grand sailings. I have also had a B2B and that had different show times (and traditional dining times) for each segment.

 

So if you are wanting to select a dining time in advance of a cruise, at best it will be an educated guess (but still a guess) as to what time to select in order to see the shows. If you wait until shortly before the cruise to pick a time knowing what the current show schedule is, the time slot you want may already be full.
