Advice needed - We want to WALK to a beach at Amber Cove. Can we??

Hi there,

My mother and I do not wish to get a taxi nor pay for a day pass.  We just want to get off the ship and walk to a nearby beach.  I have read that there is one past the Amber Cove entry and to the left, then down a hill.  Correct?  Or no?  If no, what else can we do?  Is it public access? Thank you for your advice!

Did you do a Google Map search?  Here is what I found:

I wonder if you can turn left down that path at Calle de las banderas for access to that beach?

Did you walk to the beach from the pier?

We did not feel safe after leaving the compound so we turned around and returned to the ship.
