Where Riviera docks in Bordeaux, France

Hi everyone. Just had a Pacific Coast Cruise cancelled for this April so once again looking at itineraries!

The Oceania Riviera has a wonderful looking cruise next June with 2 stops in Bordeaux. I know there are 3 ports to dock at but can’t find

the information on the where the Riviera will be.  Has anyone ever stopped for 2 days in Bordeaux on the Marina or Riviera that can answer this?

In May 2017 we docked right downtown just north of Place de la Bourse and its vast reflecting pool.

Space is very limited and also the tide is a factor.   Normal proceedure is for the ship to arrive at high tide...downtown   Well  south of the main town  ( you need to go over the bridge to get to it.

 

   Many times the ship will have to move during the day for its 2 day in port.     You sail up a river which is very shallow...     SO.....   The deeper  port , some 35 km west of town may have to be used.

On Marina on May 29, 2017 we overnighted right downtown.  BTW, Oceania Nautica was docked there as well overnight.
