Cells and Tablets

Wondering if RCL is still primarily using QR codes and apps for interaction with onboard guests?  Or are the old reliable paper Compass and menus back in use?  Neither of us are big fans of toting cells or tablets everywhere while on holiday.  Realize some things like booking onboard activities we may need to use app, but normal activity while sailing I'm turning mine off and leaving in room.  Thanks.

When we sailed on Odyssey in October, paper was available. Our room steward asked us our preference and we had a Compass each evening. Menus were available at every restaurant we went.

Many cruises completed and all had the paper compass in the cabin every night.  Physical menus have always been available, either presented by default or available upon request.

paper compasses available.  Paper menus available.  Phone in your room to make reservations.

The only things to scan were were a appointment for covid test b2b and to get a time slot to get off. The later the desk did and the other they said just show up for the test.

 

I'm not happy there isnt a alternative I can do myself without asking.
