Dawes Glacier question

We have a cruise coming up in August that goes to Endicott Arm and the Dawes Glacier. We've gone down Tracy Arm and to Glacier Bay several times each, but this is our first trip to Dawes. Looking at the map of Endicott Arm, I see that the glacier is down at the very end of a narrow channel. Can anybody who's been there give me some idea how close the ship gets to the glacier? I don't expect it to get really close, but I'd like to get some idea if the ship can get as close as it can to the Sawyer Glacier in Tracy Arm.

Edit: I zoomed out on the map, and I think I answered my own question. It looks to me like both fjords are about the same width. So, for any given day, it looks like the ship would have about an equal chance of getting reasonably close to either glacier. Thoughts from anybody?
