Medical exemption for vaccines.

 I’m looking for information from anyone who has gotten a medical exemption for the Covid vaccine. We want to book a cruise for the summer but will need a medical exemption for our granddaughter. I called the special-needs department and was told we have to book the cruise first and then apply for the exemption with a letter from her doctor explaining her condition  but what I’d like to know is how long does it take before they let you know.  Thanks in advance for any information.

Well that’s the problem I’m worried about. If we don’t find out until a week before the cruise and have to cancel then we will lose money and this is what I’m trying to avoid.

That's the way it is. They are only allowed so many unvaccinated, so they need to wait until as close to sailing as possible to make the decision.

Some cruise lines are still not accepting non vaccinated passengers, so check before booking.
