Is the Royal Caribbean "Chat" feature available on the Mariner of the Seas?

All ships for which the app is available (Radiance is the only one which doesn't have it yet) should have the chat feature (look for the three dots in the upper right), including Mariner.

What is the "chat" feature?

Open your app, look for the three dots in the white caption bubble, upper right hand corner.  Once you get on board, you can send messages to other passengers. To be able to use it unlimited, it's $1.99 a day.  I think you can text people in your cabin for free.  

 

The problem is that the app must be opened, and it doesn't alert when a message is received.  You have to just keep checking, when you are expecting an update.  Hopefully they will improve the functionality at some point.

Everyone needs to have it (paid for it) for it to work. We'll see if CEO Bayley's promise of the function becoming free ever materializes.

Radiance Class, or just Radiance. The app tells me it isn't available for Serenade.🤔

Serenade is available on the app. and Radiance is now also available.  It came on line the middle of last week for our Alaska cruise in June.
