Latest time to disembark?

I understand that Celebrity used to "sell" the option to extend your stay on board on disembarkation day e.g. till 2:00pm for a fee.  Does anyone know if this is still an option?  Our flight out of Rome is not until late PM - just want to avoid sitting at FCO terminal for ages.....

Don’t think that this is an option at the moment?

Celebrity do offer tours which end at the airport though.

"Extend Your Stay" hasn't been available since the post-COVID restart.  Unfortunately, it's wrapped up with the protocol issues for COVID, or so they say, related to clearing the ship.  I don't buy that, since B2B pax turn right back around and get on again within minutes and are free to roam, very similar process to the "Extend Your Stay" where you visit with Mr. Customs and turn right back around and get on again.

 

Had rather looked forward to it as a freebie (vs. regular $79pp charge) since our own 'restart' was in a RS.

 

It was only available for R/T Everglades cruises and a handful of European ports.  Can't remember if Rome was one of them.

We did that on our December cruise coming back to Fort Lauderdale. Flight wasn't due out until 5 or 6pm. Well worth it - had some fun and it was only 30 or 40 per person (which included the transfer).
