DH uses hearing aids and it’s AMAZING when he wants to watch TV and I want to SLEEP. Amazing, IF he can connect using a TV adapter or “optical digital output” or “TOS link” (no I don’t know what these mean!) Does anyone know if Royal Princess regular balcony room TV’s allow access to output plugs?

I'm not sure how a hearing aid would work but I can say that I used a Roku unit on the Enchanted recently and this had earphones built into the remote control. It worked well with my movies and as I recall I didn't try to use it for the Princess channels.

It takes a little setting up initially to get it connected to their system plus having to manually switch it over each time you want to use it, but it does work with a little effort.

They don't make it easy to just plug in your devices but it can be done.
