Four adults in millennium class penthouse

We are considering putting 4 adults in the millennium class penthouse. The group would consist of myself, my husband, and my parents.

Can anyone speak to their experience with 4 adults in this room? I know there is plenty of space. However, I’d be interested in hearing about privacy/comfort for the couple in the living room.

Reason for putting 4 people in the room is because the retreat is sold out. Can’t get access to luminae/be in the same area of ship.

I've had my adult sister on the couch in the Penthouse of the Summit.   The couch was uncomfortable and we aren't doing it again.  I couldn't get another suite for her so I'm putting her in a regular cabin and paying for Luminae or a specialty restaurant.   There's no need for the Retreat sundeck with such a big balcony in the Penthouse and we won't go into the Retreat bar.   As far as privacy goes, there's plenty; whoever is in the bedroom has access to a bathroom, balcony, plenty of closets and service door/rest of the ship without going near the living room. I recall my sister saying there is very limited storage or counter space in the second bathroom.

It wouldn't be bad at all as the Master and Living area each have their own access to the balcony.  To get to the smaller bathroom the hallway  does pass close by the Master BR, but with the door closed it shouldn't be an issue.  Space for toiletries is limited, but I'm sure you can make it work.  The suite is lovely and the balcony is in my opinion the best  PH balconies in the fleet.

Depending on how "limber" your parents are or how difficult it is for them to sleep on a sofa bed, it may or may not be ok.....an aching back could spoil the trip. I have never slept on that sofa bed, though my adult kids have in the RS on M and S class without problem. The privacy issues, IMO, if you want to make it work, should be no problem. The suite is huge and the second bathroom, as I remember it (it's my husband's when we are in that suite) is larger than most in a balcony cabin. Go and remember it's to be together and have an adventure. My 2 cents!

Years ago we had four in the penthouse, my husband and I, and my sister and her traveling buddy. It was no problem, one used the sofa bed with extra padding and the other was in the far corner of the living room where the connecting door is on a roll away bed. Neither had any complaints.

Our 6’ adult son had no issues with the M class PH sofa bed (Summit and Millie). My only comment would be it is a bit lower than a standard bed so may not suit anyone with knee/hip problems.

The M class PH has a key advantage over the S class for four guests in that both sets of guests can exit the suite without disturbing the others whereas on the S class PH the guests in the bedroom need to exit via the lounge.

In our opinion four in the M PH is a great option. Loads of space, plenty of places socialise  and dine but also plenty of place to enjoy privacy. I agree with others the best Balcony in the fleet. Add on the free speciality dining and laundry for all guests, perfect.
