Time Frame for Disembarkation

For Regent frequent cruisers, approximately how long does it take to disembark at the end of our journey?  For example, if the ship docks at 8:00, about what time should we expect to be on our way with luggage in hand to find a taxi or shuttle?

It depends, as wcsdkqh posted.  Miami is not necessarily the same as Los Angeles, or NYC--let-alone same while at Barcelona, Southampton, or Stockholm.  Having disembarked from all, either foreign or domestic, must take into consideration when figuring how to schedule the airline segment back home.

We have had "scheduled" (based on color-code baggage tags related to either "Independent" or a Regent-arranged transfer to the departing airport) disembarkation at 0830H being delayed up to two hours due to "waiting for Port Authorities to clear the ship"; or "until all baggage has been offloaded."

Regent has NO control on such variables.

So---for example. At Miami, we never schedule a departing flight until AFTER 1230H if from Miami; or 1300H if from Ft. Lauderdale Airport.

You get the idea.

GOARMY!

I guess the same could be said for scheduling a train, building in extra time to get to train station?  Can anyone recommend a private transfer service in Barcelona to

take six of us with luggage from the port to the train station?  Taxi line may be long……
