Married90 Posted July 25, 2022 #1 Share Posted July 25, 2022 This is the first time we have done a B2B cruise and would like to spend the day between cruises "touring" Vancouver. Do we have to go through full disembarkation of the first cruise and terminal check-in for the 2nd cruise or can we just "get off" like a normal port and be back to board no later then 30 min before sailing? How does this work? THANKS.
Alakegirl Posted July 25, 2022 #2 Share Posted July 25, 2022 Get a transit pass and you will skip the lines when you come back to the ship

Rare Jim_Iain Posted July 25, 2022 #4 Share Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) At the turn around meeting you will be given instructions. On turn around day you will have 2 options. 1. Go ashore before 9:30 and tour on your own. They will take your sea pass from you when you leave the ship. On return to the Terminal you will show a Transit Pass to get back into the Terminal and will be directed to the Transit Desk where they will check you back in and give you your new sea pass. You will not be allowed back onto the ship until general boarding begins. 2. Stay aboard and do the B2B process with all other B2B's starting around 9:30 and usually takes about 15-20 minutes. You will get your new Sea Pass at this point. You can then have free reign of the ship until general boarding begins. Northern Aurora Posted July 25, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 25, 2022 The transit pass will be included in your B2B information packet. The pass allows B2B passengers to skip the check-in lines.

Only ask since the turn around rules can be different in different ports.

Time may vary slightly and some ports require B2B's to go ashore to zero out the ship while others do it totally aboard. As for the Transit Pass system - It has been the same in the following ports I've done B2B's Honolulu, Sydney, Yokohama, Southampton, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Port Everglades and San Diego. In April in Southampton they put on a B2B tour to Buckingham Palace so we all met in theater an used our Transit Passes upon rejoining the ship instead of waiting for the B2B processing. Would be interested to hear if other B2B's have had a different experience.
