Full Payment vs. Deposit

I don't know if I am misunderstanding the website, but when I tried to book a sailing for next year (September 2023) and got to the payment page, it wanted to charge me the full balance rather than the $300 deposit.  Or at least it looked that way, because it said "Full Payment $XXXX" with a green check mark next to it.

 

Am I reading it right?  I don't want to assume it is the deposit and be surprised.

I booked for September finally.  At one point, it was full payment on webpage.  But than it allowed me to put $300.00 down.  I had to call them for a question/fix an item, and they actually told me that they did not know it was possible to only put down $300 but if you did not book, try again to see.
