Upgrading with CC benefits if booked with TA?

Tiki_Man are looking at booking an upcoming cruise on Apex, but not sure how availing ourselves of Captain’s Club benefits works. If we book through our TA (to get Virtuoso OBC), can I still contact the Captain’s Club myself to request beverage package and internet package upgrades with the CC discount?

Yes. I did it last week.

Go to Celebrity Captain's Club (CC), it lists the meagre perks at the different levels.

I see on the benefits that CC can request a cabin category upgrade, but there’s not much explanation on what that means. Any insight into this? Thank you! 😊

You select the cabin you want and pay the price of 1 subcategory down.   For example if you want to book an A1 cabin you pay the A2 price.

 

Not all categories are eligible.   Also there has to be cabin available in the lower category cabin.
