Meaning of "follow anonymously"?

Just checked my profile--and in my nearly 2 decades on these boards I never noticed that.... Thanks for any clarification.

In October 2018 the software was changed from vBulletin to Invision Community and has been tweaked often since then. Also, we moved to new servers in May 2019. Soooo, changes happen! 😀

 

I can only guess that it may be that when you decided to Follow a thread, you unchecked the "Let others see that I follow this" in the process. If so, perhaps the pinned thread titled How To: Change Email Settings/Unsubscribe: Notification Settings on this forum will be helpful.

 

Otherwise... I can only suggest you contact CC Help Michell at help@cruisecritic.com from your Cruise Critic email address of record. This is so your membership can be verified, and reply sent to your Cruise Critic email address of record.
