Getting an MDR Dessert in the Steakhouse

Sailing on the Vista in September and the first night we are going to eat at the steakhouse. However, the MDR dessert that night is tiramisu (which I love and rarely get to eat except on special occasions). Sooooo... I'm wondering if I ask really nicely if I could possibly get the MDR dessert instead as nothing on the steakhouse menu really appeals to me? Major first world problem! I guess I could always go down the MDR and request it to take to my room.

or you could request (in advance) that the MDR serve you one the next night. I don't know how reasonable it is to ask a steakhouse server to go fetch you something from the MDR. It isn't like they have an excess of staff at the moment.

Go to the restaurant as soon as you board and put the request in, they should be able to accommodate. My mom is GF so in the past she has requested desserts from other speciality restaurants on various cruise lines since GF options are almost always limited and they are more than happy to help.
