What exactly is a "magic carpet sky suite"?  How does it differ from the "sky suite"?   If you have stayed in one,  please tell me about your experience with this category of cabin.  Thanks all!

We stayed in one on the Edge, they’re located in the middle of the ship where the magic carpet goes up & down. It was cool to watch, & it never actually stopped in front of our suite. It’s the same as a regular sky suite except the balcony is a little bigger on the magic carpet sky suite, & the bed does not face toward the balcony. Check out the attached video.

We have stayed in the S3 Magic Carpet suites and love them. The beds do all face the wall/TV in these. (The S1 and S2 sky suites, the bed faces the balcony.)  The magic carpet does sometimes move past your room but not always. It was never a issue. The S3 suites that are on one end or the other, have a side window also.  We have one booked for November on Beyond!  Can't wait.

And to answer often asked questions- No, it isn’t noisy at all. Bit of a mechanical hum and  it only takes a few minutes to pass by the cabin. No one is on it, so no one looking in the cabins. At most, it moves twice a day.

The beds in the Aft Sky1 Suites do not face the verandah, they face the opposite wall.

Ooo I had read they all faced the balcony except for the S3. Just goes to show ya, you can't believe everything you read on the web.
