I was just looking at Celebrity’s Caribbean shore excursions, Nassau, Grand Cayman, Aruba, Bonaire and 95% of the shore excursions are sold out. Do they release more as the date approaches?

Thanks

Excursions have been limited.  Many of the tour operators did not survive the loss of business when travel shut down.  The cruise lines are having to find and vet new tour companies and the companies don’t have the staff or vehicles to provide excursions in the volumes they did pre pandemic.

We did 5 cruises between Oct thru May and had booked a total of 7 ship excursions of which 3 were cancelled once on the ship due to “ operational issues”. Lack of staff/vehicles.

As cruising is starting Vito have more passengers the tour operators should begin to be able to increase capacity.

If all else fails you can easily find guides via the Ports of Call board here on CC. Trip Advisor, Tours by Locals, Viator and many more have options in each port.

The local small company or independent guides really need the bookings.
