Cruise Check-in - No Vaccination Upload?

Just want to confirm I'm not missing something.

Last cruise was Nov 2021, and when checking in on the Celebrity app, I had to upload our COVID vaccination cards in addition to answering the "Are you vaccinated?" question.  However, for our recent check-in, I only had to answer the vaccination question... no upload required.  Since our cruise is going to Canada (NE/Canada cruise from Boston), I believe I will need to upload that info to the ArriveCAN app, but had Celebrity stopped requiring this upload at check-in?  I still assume they will check it at embarkation.

Celebrity will already have your vaccine record

No they are not saved by Celebrity for privacy reasons.

They removed the upload from the app a couple weeks ago and have replaced it with a screen where you just indicated if you are vaccinated or not.   You still need to bring your original vaccine documentation to the port if you are claiming vaccinated status for testing or other protocol differences
