New testing rules for B2B?

We are on the Beyond Oct 3 for 9 days.  Under the new rules no testing required.  Okay.  But then we are B2B on the following TA leaving Barcelona for 12 days.  Testing IS required for this sailing under current rules.  How is that handled by Celebrity?  Do we need to bring our own self tests aboard or with Celebrity test us or will Celebrity waive that testing requirement since we are already aboard?

So we've never done a B2B cruise or a TA before so any other thoughts on what we should expect are welcome as well.

Haven’t seen anything that clearly addresses this,  we are on the TA with you and as it stands we need a proctored test 1 day before boarding in  Barcelona.   Bermuda requires the proctored test so I would think you will need a test.  I’m guessing Celebrity will provide the test for the.B2B passengers but it’s a guess.

Definitely would wait and see what happens.  The rules are changing so rapidly that they could change again before your cruise.

We are on Summit now on a B2B Transatlantic (2n leg).   Originally they thought we would not be tested.  Even though Canada requires testing for all passengers prior to board they considered B2B's transit passengers and we would be covered by our first test before boarding.   Due to a large number of positive passengers we had to be tested on board.

We have a Zenith lunch today so will be asking if B2B's will be tested for our 3rd segment - Boston to Quebec and back.

Interesting ... Keep us updated and wishing you to stay well.  Curious ... What is the cruise line currently doing for those who are testing positive?  Are they still designating a certain deck to isolate?

I just asked the Retreat Concierge.    She said that on current cruise they will let us know as it is determined by number of cases during our cruise.   I believe that to be more than 3%

For the TA with a Bermuda stop it will depend on Bermuda.  She said they have been very strict and don’t expect them to change.  Celebrity if required will test all guest within 48 hours of Bermuda as well as crew.
