How do I take advantage of my on board credit in the casino

So I booked a cruise that offered me $500 on board credit.  I know that daily gratuities will come out of this but was wondering if I can use any of this in the casino and if so how?  Anybody do this?

Or use your sign and sail card to charge chips, there is a 3% surcharge.

On my last cruise, the account was already set up using my room card. The password is your birth month and day. I used the card for poker buy in.

If it's off the obc, there is no surcharge.

Correct - if you use a slot machine to charge to your room, no fee.  Instructions above.

There is a 3% charge at the tables. You are better off getting it through the slot machines, play a couple spins and cash out. Then go to the tables.

I have never been in the ship Casino before but I am taking my 92 year old mother on one next week.  Is this easy to do ? Would you be able to tell me what are the steps to setting up an account ? Thanks 🙂

There is a keypad on each slot machine. Insert your sail & sign card in the slot. I can’t remember now what it asks, but it’s self explanatory. You will be asked your date of birth and create a 4 digit pin. Generally people sitting around you will be happy to help, or just go to the casino host and they will help you.
