We usually book mid to late afternoon flights. As such, we don't rush. Out of cabin before "last call" and off to MDR for breakfast....  Breakfast isn't exactly leisurely, cuz they try to start clearing the ship at 9:30. At that point, can walk right off and  not much wait for taxi or uber.

That was another question I had in mind, what time would the dining room close. You answered that. Thanks!
How about the Lido deck buffet? Same thing I suspect.

Lido is chaotic in my experience. All those ppl and all their luggage. Save yourself and do MDR. Just my opinion

Yes, it can be very much so. Self assist early debark can be hundreds of people all lugging their own luggage off the ship down stairwells, through the atrium and then the gangplank and through customs. Completely different experience from the last people getting off. When we have done early self assist debark we had no choice. Early flight or Long drive with a time constraint.

It depends really. It can get backed up at later times due to customs. But I think that is a thing of the past with the new camera system they have.

Assuming no delays, they try to get everyone off the ship by 10 am. I have had the ship turn off water on me before. lol.

MDR is the best place to wait it out assuming that you aren't eating vast quantities of food.
