We are sailing on Rotterdam next March for 11 days and have speciality dining and excursions to decide on and book.  Also very interested in the entertainment and how it works being so close together.?   Any insights would be great.  Thanks!

When you say, "how it works being so close together?", are you talking about sound traveling between the music venues on the Music Walk?  You might get a bit of sound transfer in quiet periods at the venue you are at but you won't notice it once your venue's music starts playing.  The one most susceptible to outside noise would the be shared BB Kings/ Lincoln Center Stage location.  When the Lincoln Center Stage quartet is playing it may not be so much of music from another venue being heard as it is people talking who are walking by.  The staff puts out "please be quiet" signs but not all passengers see those signs or follow the request.

Exactly my question.  Thanks for your response!

For the area with the pianos and the Rolling Stone Rock Room, the entertainment alternates in 45 minute sets, so they are not competing with each other.  You can sit wherever you want to see the talent you are most interested in seeing, but you can basically hear everything in/from either venue.  Usually it means continuous entertainment most nights.

Agree. And there is a  set of doors between the BB King Lounge and the area of the Rolling Stone Rock Room, which does a far job of stopping the sounds from traveling. They try to keep the doors closed when there are performances in both locations at the same time.

Making it pretty much impossible for those driving a scooter to move from one area to another.
Those doors should at minimum have an electric eye so the disabled can get through.
