Princess Prizes

Can anyone who has sailed in the last few months please comment on any of the "prizes" promised in their Premiere Plus program?

I was on the Majestic in Sept.  The last day which was a sea day,  there was a prize event in the Plaza, deck 5, also posted in the activities newsletter. The casino manager had already made the drawings.  They had envelopes with passenger name and cabin number.  The cruise director called the first name/cabin on the envelope .  There were a few $25, one $100 and $5,000.  There was only 1 person present, she signed a paper and she was handed $25.  They said the others would be notified.

My husband and I had the premier package so the prize option was automatic.  When the casino was open, every time we went in our door, we got a "better luck next time" message on our door screen.  Then one day the screen read "Congratulations $25 has been added to you account"  Then I got one!  Throughout the 7 day cruise we won a total of $125 added to our account.  A friend who did not have the premier opted in half way through the cruise by pushing the button on the screen.  He won $250 at the end of cruise drawing.  Other friends who had the premier won nothing.  Game of chance.

We got OBC for our $25 prize at the door.  Our friend received $250 cash on the last day  in the piazza.

Just to clarify - are you saying that your friend had the Plus package,  and was able to upgrade to Premier durung the  cruise ? 

Did your friend then get a free speciality dinner, photo package etc ?

Yes and it's $20 per day
