Port Canaveral to Orlando International Airport - Transfers

Hi everyone:  Anybody had experience with transfers from port Canaveral to the Orlando Intl Airport - we dock on Nov 13 from the Wonder of the seas transatlantic voyage and need to get to the airport as soon as we can to catch an early flight - thank you.

You can get a private limo company to transfer you, I've used http://www.fltours.com in the past.

Depending how early you need to be there , look up Cortrans and see their earliest pick up time.

I don't know about that. You have to get the shuttle from the port to the rental car agency and the do the paperwork and such to get the car. Then you ether have to prepay for gas or stop at a station and fill it up before returning it, and go through the hassle of checking it in.

Take a Taxi then, they travel back and forth all day from Port Canaveral to the Orlando Intl Airport

That would work also. The OP said they needed to get to MCO as soon as they can to catch an early flight,  hence my response about rental car option.

Lyft worked for us.

 Use the ship shuttle if it leaves early enough.  We have always used them going back to MCO.  It has been close once when we were the first on the bus and then had to wait for it to fill up.

I guess you haven't experienced the time it would actually take to get a rental car at one of the agencies that serve PC on a ship arrival day.

thanks everyone for your input - very helpful, our flight leaves at 12:30 and we should be able to get off the ship early, will look for a taxi, thank you again.
