Do the ships sell different currencies?

Specifically euros, for using in Martinique .

While in the Western Hemisphere, they generally do not sell Euros on board

I was in Martinique a few weeks ago and no euros onboard. Best to buy before you leave home.

My experience is that 99% of purchases can be made by CC or Phone Pay.    Also USD are generally accepted everywhere.

 

From a quick google. -

 

Martinique uses the same currency as on mainland France: the Euro. US Dollars are also generally accepted, as well as all major credit cards.  There are many ATMs available all throughout the island.

I took a shore excursion as soon as I got off the ship in Martinique and had to pay in euros fortunately I had some with me.

@Jim_IainDidn't look like it.  The excursion was €65 and she didn't even have change so she just charged me €60.  Not sure if they accepted CC's at the port as being a Sunday the shops were closed.
