Exit rear entrance (signposted), turn right and join the water taxi queue, board. One can’t miss it..

We're planning to take a van up into the rainforest & get dropped at Grand Anse, or mebbe Morne Rouge beach. Any idea of the latest one-way fare back to the cruise pier? And any idea of how long a walk from, say, La Plywood beach bar on Morne Rouge to the ferry pier on Grand Anse ? Can't figure on googlemaps where the pier is. TIA JB 🙂

TIA JB 🙂 Drop off at La Plywood - a far better experience. The ferry shuttle is close to Silversands… So Google “distance from La Plywood to Silversands Hotel Grenada” No doubt your van driver will be pleased to collect you from La Plywood at the required time. Not latest - Pre-COVID - From La Plywood to Cruise Terminal was $15 - so work on $20 now - No doubt CC members will confirm current price.
PORT ROYAL Posted November 16, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 16, 2022 To assist link…… https://restaurantwebx.com/LaPlywood/ The menu prices are in Caribbean Dollars.. To roughly convert into US$, divide by 2, then deduct 25%

Further from Morne Rouge than I'd thought, about 1.7 miles / 33 mins. Van back to the ship would be easier and cheaper, tho the ferry is more fun. We'll go armed with the options and make our minds up on-the-spot depending on mood, energy levels and weather. Thanx again JB 🙂

Thanx again JB 🙂 Happy to help. As one knows, Grenada regularly has heavy liquid sunshine late in the afternoon. So we always bring with us a couple of cheap disposable plastic Ponchos, just in case. CaliforniaAC Posted January 20, 2023 #9 Share Posted January 20, 2023 Not super new info, in March '22 it was $15USD P/P for the Water Taxi to Grand Anse, and a little more for Magazine Beach. The only thing I can't remember is if it was R/T or one way. It was a really quick and easy trip, just a few minutes.

It was 10.00 pp round trip in April 2022. I see there’s an increase now to 15.00 pp, but I would think it’s still for a round trip.
PORT ROYAL Posted April 2 #12 Share Posted April 2 Plywood update 27 minutes ago, negn said: We originally asked to go to La Plywood. Taxi dropped us off right next door at kalingo. We rented chairs. No need for umbrella as plenty of trees. We purchased a couple of drinks while there. A lot cheaper than all inclusive. Taxi was $16 each way. We arranged for our driver to pick us up also. BTW, looking over at La Playa it looked pretty rundown Thank you so much for this valuable update…. Will now make others aware of the poor state of Plywood, so they make the right and informed choice.
