Puerta Vallarta "To the beach" sign for Playa de Oro, it's still there...right?

We sail very soon so just making sure the sign is still up directing us to the beach. I'm talking about the red sign with white letters and an arrow (again, Puerta Vallarta port sign for Playa de Oro). My understanding is that once I get off ship and walk straight I should see this sign. Thanks so much!

changed to say Oro not Ora, spelling error.

  • oyme changed the title to Puerta Vallarta "To the beach" sign for Playa de Oro, it's still there...right?

I am not sure about the sigh, but there is a public entrance to the beach next to the 3 Icon towers. Just a short walk from the cruise terminal. Walk the street behind the Chedraui (was a Soriana before) supermarket_ and walk south.

Do they have chairs for rent?  Drinks for sale on the beach?

No it is just public beach access. So bring your towels etc. Often vendors will come with many items also incl. fruits and sometimes drinks. On your way to this beach you can buy drinks at the Chedraui supermarkt almost next to the cruise terminal. If you want to chairs and drinks better buy a daypass in one of the hotels.
