Hotel recommendations for Basel please

Will have one night in Basel after our cruise.   Does anyone have recommendations?

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois with Uniworld a 5 or 6 years past for two nights and were very  satisfied with the hotel and the location.

We stayed at The Passage at the end of our river cruise. Good location, nice clean rooms, good breakfast and short taxi to train station.

Next door to main train station.  Schweitzhof.

We stayed at the Krafft Basel.  It is pretty well across river from the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois, but at about a quarter of the price.

 

Our room was huge with a large balcony overlooking the Rhine and the old town of Basel.

 

Service and breakfast were fantastic, all for a quite reasonable price for Switzerland.

In 2019 we stayed at the Grand Hotel Trois Rois.  Gorgeous hotel right on the riverbank w/ a great restaurant.  We had a terrific dinner here & a nice breakfast the next day prior to the start of our Uniworld cruise.

Hotel Basel was very enjoyable and convenient to everything.

We stayed at the Basel Ibis next to the main train station last month for one night.  Plain hotel with no frills but clean, hot shower and bed for around $120.  Got up early the next day, walked to train station and caught the express bus to airport.  Very easy.
