Drink Questions

Are double drinks covered in the Premium Package . . . asking for a friend. ☺️

Has anyone sailed recently that can tell me if they had Woodford  Reserve available onboard?  We last sailed on Celebrity in April and they did not have any onboard due to Covid shipping issues.

Lastly, are there wines you would recommend in the Premium Package?  The last time we sailed my favorite was the Cakebread Pinot Noir, but it wasn't always available.

Thank you!

That is great news on the doubles!!

In case others are wondering, I did a bit more digging in the boards and these are some of the wines that came up several times:

Cakebread Pinot Noir

Conundrum (a blend)

Decoy Cabernet

Elegance Sauvignon Blanc

Kiona Merlot

Cherry Tart or Pie Pinot Nior

Layer cake primitivo

 No it does not.

From the order page:

Important details and advisements

  • Packages may not be shared, and do not include beverages sold in gift shops, mini-bar or room service.

Find a BT that you like and makes the drinks the way that you like them.   Grease their palm.   They will accommodate you

If you don’t have a package or want to upgrade do it with a BT that you like.  They get the 20% gratuity.

PLEASE DON’T DO IT WITH THE HAWKS THAT APPROACH YOU AROUND THE SHIP ON THE FIRST DAY.   They are chasing the gratuity and you will never see them again.

DO IT WITH SOMEONE THAT WILL BE SERVING YOU AND WILL ACCOMMODATE YOU.

There was a premium drink plus package that included the premium drink pack upgrade plus the mini bar, snacks and casino credit.  It was a deal depend on the length of the cruise.  You got daily 2 splits of wine,  mini bottles of Tito’s vodka, Kind Bars, and Pringles.   I think if the cruise was 7 days it was a no brainer as the casino credit covered the cost.   I don’t know if it is still offered

Thank both for your answer.

I had read that if both people in the cabin buy the Premium Beverage package it would include that cabin mini bar. Except, we did not really buy it it was one of the perks given to us so 🤷🏻‍♂️

I will I’ll ask once I get on board.

PS  The premium beverage package “plus” is still being offered.

No it doesn't. However, if you're in a suite, your butler can fill it with soda, ome wines and beers with no additional cost (just remember to tip him!).

Again, no. The Plus package was stopped some time ago and is no longer an option. I double-checked with our sailing on the Solstice next month.

It was called "Drinks and more"  and it is no longer being offered.

When I did not have the DBP and wanted to upgrade, I would always do it at the Martini Bar.  That is one of my favorite hangouts so it made sense to get on the good side of the bartenders there.   The alternate was the Ensemble Lounge.  We find that a very relaxing location onboard the ship and enjoy sitting and listening to the talented musicians and have always found the service there exceptional.
