Price for 25 Oct 2024 JS was $2565.  Gets into Lisbon 7 Nov.  Several of us are flying to Barcelona on the 7th to pick up Celebrity Constellation for the B2B transatlantics.

We have been looking at this one for a while. There are a few options if you decide to do both legs or line hop instead. There is a Celebrity Silhouette West bound TA that departs from Barcelona on 11/16 which would give you nine days to explore before you did the TA back on that one; or a 10 night Mediterranean on NCL that departs Lisbon on 11/8 that would leave you a week free to explore before you board the Adventure TA back to PC.

 

There is also a WB TA on celebrity that leaves Barcelona the day you arrive in Lisbon that makes a port stop in Lisbon 4 days later. If they ever re-allow downlining, you could possibly hop on that one when it stops in Lisbon.

We looked at that as a possibility, but that's a really tight turn and any delay in arrival in Lisbon or a flight delay on the hop to Barcelona and you'd miss the TA.

I've thought about that, but I'm an optimist.  Would book with Choice Air.   If we miss the ship in Barcelona, pick it up the next morning in Valencia.

That would work if downlining is reinstituted. AFAIK now it is still prohibited due to health protocols.

 

We are seriously considering flying to Barcelona from Lisbon on the 7th as well, but overnighting there and then hopping on the NCL Med cruise on the 8th. We looked at doing the train, but there are 4 train changes between Lisbon and Barcelona. We will do a week tooling around Barcelona after the NCL cruise and hop the Adventure TA back on the 25th.

Choice Air said current pricing for flight from Lisbon to Barcelona would get you there within the transfer parameters to catch the ship.  Cost is $81pp, so that would be your best bet to get to BCN.

DW would rather take the Med cruise instead of rushing between cities. Looks like we are going with option B😇

We just booked the return on Adventure leaving Barcelona 11/24. That will give us 17 days to visit Portugal and Spain.
