Fastest way from MIA to FLL airport

I know its not ideal for a morning flight, but what would be the recomended fastest way to get from MIA to FLL airport if we dock at 7..uber/booked driver?

Take the first cab in line - don't wait for an Uber or limo driver to show up.

Thanks I wasnt sure that there would already be cabs there, and if it meant we had to order an uber it would probably be faster, but if we self disembark and there will already be cabs there waiting, that will likely be fastest..thanks!

There will be taxis waiting at both POM (where your cruise ends) and MIA (Miami International Airport) - the title on your post is a bit confusing.

We have a 1230 pm flight departing FLL to Canada on Dec 30th (party  of 5).  Looking at a prebooked transportation option for which we were told the earliest transport 'usually' leaves at 830 AM getting us there at 930 AM at the earliest.  We are just doing carry on and not checking in luggage.  Is check in and security bad at FLL such that getting there 930-10 would be cutting it close?

The cost of cabs is a little confusing and I'm having trouble being sure what the most up to date information is. 

1. Are there SUV sized cabs or only sedan? There will be 3 of us + luggage. 

2. Is it metered or flat rate? Estimate? A Lyft XL may be cheaper if splitting cost 3 ways.

SUV and minivan taxis are available - same fare.  You may need to wait in line for a larger cab to come to the front for your party.

 

Flate rate fares between POM and MIA went away - expect the meter to be about $30+  UberXL or Lyft may be cheaper - or surge pricing may make the taxi cheaper.
