OCEAN CAY OVERNIGHT?

Looking at a cruise next fall with an overnight stop in OC.  We did one a few months ago & loved it!  This time another couple might be interested in joining us - BUT - unlike us they are big casino rats.  Is the casino opened while docked overnight in OC?  Would be a deal breaker for them.

We have a cruise like this coming up with an overnight at Ocean Cay. Is there anything happening on the island the next morning? Do they serve breakfast or anything? Or is it just a chance for people to hit the beach in the morning before the ship leaves at around noon?

Our overnight at OC departs at 5 pm on the 2nd day instead of noon. I imagine in our case daily activities will be planned. When we overnighted at OC last month our departure was 1 pm. They had the beaches open and a few bars. We enjoyed mimosas at the lighthouse bar.

Were the drinks included while on land or did you have to pay for drinks if you got the drink package?

We just booked a March cruise with an overnight at Ocean Cay. This will be our first MSC cruise. The pDF you can download on the excursions booking page lists a sunrise mimosa boat tour you can book on the second morning along with umbrellas and float rentals.

I’m wondering how late at night you can stay on the beach just walking around and relaxing. I’m serious considering booking the stargazing.

Me too! Just booked for mid-May with an overnight as well. I really want to do the stargazing. I was wondering if we're allowed free access to the island all night, or if there is a cutoff time. My friend I'm going with said he's planning on just sleeping on the beach that night if they let him. Mimosas on the island sound like a great way to start a day.
