Rare BoozinCroozin Posted January 13, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2023 We have a jeep rented and had a rough plan on where to go and what to see. After asking others, told it is too much for a day stop. So, may have to look at what we are doing for the day. People say it is a huge time sink to go to the natural pool and limits what you can do. Plus, a lot of rentals do not allow their jeeps to go there. New plan ideas: Baby Beach San Nichols street murals Red Anchor for photos Lighthouse Gold mill and secret pool (if the secret pool is closed, then we won't go here) Tres Trapi maybe first thing after getting the jeep

It takes some time to get from one to the other.

cleobella Posted February 9, 2023 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2023 How about leaving port and heading to the Aloe Factory ( maybe 15 minutes driving, it could be a quick shopping stop or you could do the little tour). Then head over to the Ayo Rock Formations for a 20 minute stop. It's on the main road, no need for off road driving and would take about 15 min from the Aloe Factory. Then on to Baby Beach for a swim, it is about a half hour from the Ayo Rocks, further in the same direction. Then after a 30 to 60 minute swim, head back to port stopping off at Zeerover's for a fun and inexpensive lunch experience, catch of the day and a local beer. From Baby Beach it's probably about 20 minutes to Zeerover's and another 20 minutes back to port. Double check my times but I think you could do this route without feeling too rushed. No off roading and you'd see one end of the Island with a variety of sights and experiences in a short day. Take water and sunscreen! 1
SpaceCowboy9 Posted February 12, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2023 If you have a jeep, stay on the rough side of the island (which is the eastern side of the island) - that would be the gold mill & natural pools/natural bridge & it would be easy to hit the California lighthouse (You may even be able to do some off-road)

Within all of this lunch somewhere. After seeing tons of pictures from someone in Aruba visiting Tres Trapi every day, we may wind up spending 2-3 hours there.
