Casino booking onboard?

Is there any advantage to going down to future cruise desk today on board Odyssey to book a next cruise or am I essentially getting the same by doing the future booking through the app? We have a cruise picked for 2024, so even if we go down to future bookings, they can never do anything with the casino rates anyway and I have to wait and call casino royale anyway. The cruise certificates earned for playing in the casino this week don't extend that far out.

We'll both be getting our annual prime tier room in a month, so I'm thinking I'm better off to just get the general booking number and call once I have that offer? I'm not sure if I booked now, I'd be allowed to apply our annual prime to the booking if already made

 Am I wrong, or does the annual Prime cruise not show in our accounts until mid-April or later? Has this changed?

Yes it'll be mid April when it shows. Which is why I'm hesitant to book unless they'd be able to adjust the booking and apply the free offer once it's available

In the recent past we have booked a cruise ahead of time with next cruise desk and paid $200 deposit for 2 adults for 7 night cruise then converted to our annual prime freebie, when it became available.    The $200 deposit we paid was then applied to our room upgrade from the interior prime freebie to a balcony cabin.     This way we got the cabin we wanted instead of waiting until mid April and finding out our preferred deck / cabin location was gone.     

 

The certificate you received from casino while onboard can be booked through next cruise desk as they usually offer some type of bonus (such as freeplay) stated on the certificate if you book while onboard.
