Super Bowl on Ships

We are sailing on Super Bowl Sunday on the Ruby Princess. Will the ship broadcast the game?

100% certain it will be on MUTS.  And every other TV on the ship in a public area.

We just got off the Diamond to Hawaii last month.   We saw every one of the televised NFL playoffs in our cabin and loved it!

If you plan to watch it on MUTS go early and find a good spot.  Then stay there until the game is over.  No one will respect anything on a chair trying to reserve a spot if you leave for any reason.  Same in any of the lounges.  Good luck and enjoy the game.

You've got that right. If you want to keep a seat at MUTS, you better have a partner to guard your spot when you go for a bathroom break or use Depends.

We were on an NCL cruise over Super Bowl one year and it was not playing. It was a European cruise though.

I did a TA on Regal in November.  The first NFL weekend had no games, the second one did as we had gotten close enough to North America that the ship could pick up the satellite broadcasting the NFL games on Fox, CBS, and NBC.  One Sunday night in Take Five, the NFL game was on a couple of TVs and World Cup games on the rest.  There was more excitement for the World Cup than the NFL.

 

However, neither was shown on MUTS, but this was just regular season.
