Casino protocols for credit cards and cash

I’ve seen a lot of talk about charges for getting money to use in the casino. I know there is an ATM but does that charge $7 per transaction? Or 7% of total? If you use your band to pull money in to your casino account from your onboard account do they hit you with 7% charge? If you have sailor loot they do not charge you right? Can someone that knows for sure chime in?
Thanks!

From what I remember, the ATM is a fixed fee regardless of amount withdrawn.

If you charge your room via your band then there is a transaction fee. The fee is waived, however, if you are sailing in the suites and have that VIP arm band.

I am sailing in April on a casino-comp cruise and wondering if they waive transaction fees for invited guests like other cruise lines will do, but I am not counting on it so taking cash.

we thought the 7% fee for room charges was for all non-suite guests doing any sort of transaction to their folio or against their sailor loot, but the last time we were on, the cashier said sailor loot transactions don't incur a fee.

Yes, the fee is waived for invited casino guests.

To be clear, it is a way to cover the credit card surcharges (2-3%) and I guess make a little money as well.

ATMs are always a fixed amount PER TRANSACTION.  If you do a cash advance via ATM - you are gonna get screwed over.
