b2b cruising on different ships.

Hi, we are sailing on Liberty next month and then getting onto Brilliance on debarkation day.   Does anyone know what happens, we've done a b2b on the same ship before which was easy.  Will RC send our bags over to the next ship or do we just walk off and then go and check in, it's at FLL so not sure about being able to walk there.  tia.

You'll have to check your own bags onto Brilliance.

What a great way to solve the post-cruise blues... walk down the pier to the next one 🙂 I've looked into this before as well, and concluded that you are no different than anyone else coming onto Brilliance for the cruise. You just have less distance to travel 🙂

Technically, RCL does not consider this  B2B (consecutive cruise), so you need to take care of everything your self to get between ships. Depending on which terminals at FLL are being used for Liberty and Brilliance, you may not be able to "walk" from one to the other, so you probably would need to cab it between berths.

Anywhere in this image where you see a ship (or a large flat length of empty pier like the RCL cruise terminal) may be used for cruise ships on peak days in this port.

And very often at FLL a ship doesn't debark at the same pier it embarked from.  In this case there are parking shuttles back to the embarkation pier parking garage, but OP shouldn't count on Brilliance embarking at the same pier Liberty did the prior cruise (e.g., a free shuttle from Liberty to Brilliance).

we did this, but years ago.  There was a shuttle, it circled about every 30 minutes, so it takes time.  WHen you ask at guest services see if they can describe the shuttle as there are many circling around, we just kept asking when they arrived and opened their doors.

Walking depends on your health and how much luggage you have.  To me it's too random and could be quite a way of a walk.
