Do we earn Mariner points through gambling at the casino on board?

Here is the fine print....the question would be "is buying chips" an onboard purchase?  I would think so but others who frequent the casino will be around shortly to advise.

 

1 bonus credit will be granted for every $300 spent in onboard purchases.

If you charge chip to your on board account it counts as onboard purchases. Also a great way to maximize CC miles.

Playing the slots, I have charged thousands of dollars to my onboard account. No Mariner Points were awarded for them.

However, is a couple has the HIA package, it's assessed value fulfills the $300/day mariner point qualifier on its own so the casino spending wouldn't matter even if it was creditable.
