We are planning to book a Penthouse Suite in the Regent Seven Seas Splendor, and we are wondering if someone can give us the differences among the Penthouse Suites. (A, B, C).  I checked the deck plan, and I cannot figure out the differences.  Also, how do you know which cabin has the biggest terrace?  Thank you.

The difference between them is location on the ship. Check the menu at RSSC.com and click on “our ships”, then Splendor. There you can see Deck plans for locations and also balconies for each one.

I personally like 1017 and 1014 - PHB with large deck up high.  It is under the pool deck though.    Depends on the type of cruise warmer weather more room on larger balcony.  I did notice Deck 7 PHB  explorer 723  can get a fair amount of ocean spray in rougher windier seas.   If you can take advantage of the 2 cat upgrade, then you can get PHB for Concierge D.

Aside from suites 700, 800 and 900, which appear to be unique, you can get an idea of balcony size by looking at the deck plan. The x00 suites have steel panels so most people need to stand if they want to enjoy the scenery.

We were in a Penthouse with the narrow balcony last year. The balcony was just fine on our Baltic cruise although if we were in a warmer area we might have wanted more outdoor space.
