New Port Stop Added

Just received an email from RCI that Puerto Plata has been added to our 8 night Eastern Caribbean itinerary onboard Freedom March 15, 2025.

They readjusted the port times for St Thomas and St Maarten, no big deal as we still have plenty of time in those ports, so excited for this port addition.

Got the same email, Freedom 11/23/24.  Puerto Plata added, time in St Thomas/St. Maarten reduced.  Happy as it’s somewhere my family hasn’t been.

Puerto Plata is also on the Jan 2024 sailings on the Anthem out of Cape Liberty. it replaced the stop at Puerto Rico. I never liked the 3-11pm stop there anyway, only two hours of daylight.

I really enjoyed San Juan stop this January. It is beautiful, but I am very exited about addition of Taino Bay. Not sure if we will stay in port area which seems nice or find a beach, but excited.
